Cindirella
Opis spektaklu
For the beginning of this year’s Christmas season, the Dorman’s Theatre has prepared a novelty for the children. Since the 1st of December Cindirella is going to be staged in Będzin – one of the most popular tales in the world, amazing story about dreams, love and good which always returns. Several dozen of handmade puppets will appear in front of the viewers eyes, dancing at the prince’s ball and rooting for the main character of the play. This family play will move every child to the land of imagination where pumpkin transforms into carriage, where the faires are real, and dreams come true.
In Jerzy Machowski’s staging, the story of Cindirella is set in snowy London. The protagonist wanders through the city of red phone booths, double-deck buses and royal guardsmen, so that she can arrive in Buckingham Palace where she meets the Prince and all of his royal family. Wintery setting of the action and the inimitable character of the play make it just excellent for the Christmas time.
