BEAR TEDDY BEAR
Opis spektaklu
The main characters of the play are the Bear (straight out of forest) and Teddy (just right for cuddles).
Is there anything they have in common? Of course – both of them are animals, however the cuddles thing is debatable…
Teddy’s environment is obviously a room, whereas the Bear lives in the forest. However the director shows that not everything is as it seems.
Jacek Malinowski: For me the story is about that nothing is prejudged, there is always a chance of some kind of change on various levels. That’s why Teddy can become a bear and vice versa. Just like in everyday life – mom can take over the role of dad, and the other way around, so that we can live in common empathy.
Following this idea, sometimes it’s good to change places and feel what animals do feel when we interfere with their world. It is worth to change the roles from time to time, to see the world from a different perspective, but also to escape the routine and maybe even help somebody.
We’re inviting you for a play in which the predictable and obvious become fiction, and the truth… Is hidden in ourselves!
